Enhanced geothermal systems (EGS)

Enhances Geothermal Systems (EGS), also known as Hot Dry Rock (HDR) or Hot Fractured Rock (HFR) enable the exploration of site independent heat to produce heat and power.

With EGS, the subsurface rocks are fractured (hydraulic fracturing) to create new pathways for heat exchange. This seminal technology is still in the beginnings. We work at the sharp end for the break through of this technology.
